Rural Flora is a charming floral studio designed as a temporary structure beside an existing restaurant in the vibrant locality of Jubilee Hills. The brief called for a compact yet expressive retail space to showcase exotic flowers while reflecting the brand’s earthy identity.

The exterior envelope was constructed using mild steel painted black, complemented by clear glass panels to visually connect the studio with its surroundings. A lightweight PUF roof system ensured efficiency, quick execution, and comfort — essential for a temporary build.

Inside, the space was carefully planned around a central workstation island — the creative heart where the florist works and conducts intimate floral workshops. To support an effortless retail flow, display and storage units wrap the perimeter, keeping every bloom within reach and sight. One side is dedicated to visible greenery, reinforcing the brand’s botanical spirit.

The material palette is understated yet purposeful. Neutral grey floor tiles function as a calm backdrop, allowing the brand’s deep green identity and colorful florals to take center stage. Thoughtfully designed lighting highlights the central workstation and accentuates the display walls, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal.

Despite its small footprint and temporary nature, Rural Flora delivers a warm and immersive floral experience — a space where nature, craft, and design come together in harmony.
